With the shift in the weather forecast for Sunday, the Fred Lebow Half-Marathon will proceed as planned. We will continue to monitor the weather forecast and proactively communicate any changes. Please continue to check our site and social for updates.
Runner safety is a primary concern at all New York Road Runners races. We work closely with a variety of city and state health and emergency service agencies to ensure that we have the necessary staff in place from start to finish throughout the race course. Our health and wellness teams are ready to respond immediately to the medical needs of all runners, spectators, volunteers, and staff.
We advise all participants to follow a number of simple precautions in order to have an enjoyable and stress-free experience:
If you experience any feelings or symptoms that seem very different than you expect, seek the attention of our staff at the start, along the course, or at the finish. Review the course map and be aware of the locations of medical stations. Every medical station has water, sports drinks, toilets, medical facilities, and access to transportation vehicles in the event that you are unable to complete the race.
